ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has forecasted rain in different parts of country for next 24-hours whereas highest rainfall was recorded in Islamabad in during last 24-hours. This has made weather pleasant in connected regions.
According to Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad abadpsaur, Bannu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Murree and heavy rain is also expected in most cities of country whereas according to department new system of rain is going to enter in the country from north-eastern province of Baluchistan which will reduce the intensity of heat in the province.
Meteorological Department also expects that from Wednesday to Friday rain is expected in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Yesterday, on the occasion of Eid the rain resulted lashes in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Jehlum, Peshawar, Murree and in several other cities. 70 mm rain in Sargodha, while 23 mm rain in Gujranwala was recorded.
The intense heat engulfed most parts of Baluchistan whereas 48 degree centigrade has been recorded as highest temperature in Dalbandin.
