In a conversation, the right-handed batsman said that his entire focus is set on playing international league cricket. Malik further said after County and Crepean League in West Indies, he will play Champions League. The right-arm off-spinner will also lead Hobart as captain in Champions League.
It is worth to remember that Malik couldn't survive in Pakistan Cricket Team in up-coming series due to his continues unsatisfactory performance. He is out of international squad since long time. Sohail Tanveer, left-arm medium fast bowler also went to West-indies to become part of Crepean League.
