Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to extend Metro Bus Service to Kala Shah Kaku. According to details, the project will cost more than six hundred million rupees.
The reports tell that residents have been getting frustrated due to massive population at Lahore entrance and exit rout at Shahdara. In that view, Punjab Government has decided to firstly: open expressway from Shahdara to Kala Shah Kaku and secondly: to extend the rout of Metro Bus Service so that some volume of traffic at Shahdara can be transferred to Kala Shah Kaku. After successfully completion of this development project, people who will be coming back towards city would take Metro from Shahdara instead of suffering from troublesome public transportation. They will have better option to smoothly move to their destination by Metro stops in the rout.
Ahad Khan Cheema, Director General of Lahore Development Authority has directed instructions to the relevant officers for feasibility report of the project. The work will start once the final approval will be signed by Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab.
