MQM's Invitation to Musharraf

KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement has invited former president Pervaiz Musharraf to join solidarity rally on 6th, July. Senior member of MQM Babar Khan Ghauri says that even if former president can not reach on the event, his party delegation will definitely take part in the rally.

According to recent updates from Muttahida's Secretariat in Karachi, the party is going to organize a rally as an expression of solidarity with Pak Army on 6th July. In this regard, MQM has been contacting different political parties in Pakistan. Under the leadership of senator Babar Khan Ghari, the delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement has met with former president Pervaiz Musharraf and invited him to participate in rally.

Babar Ghauri talked with media after the meeting, he said that Pervaiz Musharraf ensured that even he could not come in the rally, the delegation will definitely join the event on 6th, July. He further told that beside former president, the party also invited Tahir-ul-Qadri, Sheikh Rasheed, Liaquat Jatoi and Pir Pagara.
