Being an emerging singer-to-filmstar in India beside Fawad Khan and succeeding in 5 bollywood movies to his name - "Kill Dil" releasing shortly - it is yet another achievement of Ali Zafar to host Box Office Awards in India ever.
Star Box Office Awards is a collaboration between Box Office India magazine and Star Plus. The ceremony will witness the great performances of Indian Film Cinema, purposely in connection with not only the business generated but also honour director, actors of the year with some notable performances made on Box Office.
The Box Office Award can be watched around Diwali holidays in this month on Star Plus. The Co-host of Ali Zafar will be Ayshman Khurana who played impressive role in Vicky Donor.
Expressing his feeling after becoming the host of first ever Indian Box Office Awards, Ali Zafar said:-
"I am really looking forward to the night. I am hosting the ceremony with Ayushman and he's a very cool, good natured guy. I like his bonding-in-the-moment sense of humor."
From his splendid end of Myntra Fashion Week couple of days earlier to being in the spotlight for his full-of-buzz crazier promos of "Kill Dil" upcoming movie, it is like Ali Zafar everywhere in all October.
As an emerging actor of Indian Cinema in recent times, Ali Zafar is leading actor in Bollywood who proved that Pakistani talent has fabulous acting career in world's second largest film industry. Ali never hesitates from praising and appreciating the work of fellow Pakistani film stars who are working in Indian Cinema.While talking in a latest interview with Hindustan Times, the young actor said:-
"Whenever I saw Fawad on TV, I always though he deserved much more. He has been projected well with his first project and he rightly deserves it. I want more Pakistani actors to come to India. The more that happens, more we'll be able to understand each other,"

Ali Zafar Biography:-

Ali Zafar, whose full name is Ali Muhammad Zafar was born on 18th May, 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan. He is known as music composer, singer, song-writer and now-a-days becoming a well-known actor in Indian Cinema. The singer belongs to a Punjabi family. His parents Muhammad Zafarullah and Kanwal Ameen are both professors at Punjab University in Lahore. Ali completed his schooling from C.A.A. Public School and Beaconhouse School System. He passed his matriculation from Beaconhouse topping in the exams. Ali Zafar completed his graduation in arts from G.C. University and National College of Arts. He also worked as sketch artist in Pearl Continental Hotel Lahore before starting his career.
Ali started his career as pop singer and gained prominence from his song: "Channo" from his very first album "Huqa Pani". "Jugnuon Se Bhar Le Aanchal" was his first track taken in the Pakistani movie Shararat.
After topping the pop industry of Pakistan, Ali Zafar started acting career from Bollywood debuting in the movie "Tere Bin Laden" which was an average at Box Office, however the actor was nominated as Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. Ali Zafar played a guest role in the movie "Luv Ka The End" presented by Yash Raj which gained big success alongwith his next release "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan". Apart from this, Ali have done numerous other film projects in India such as: London, Paris, New York (2012), Chashme Baddoor (2013) and Total Siyapaa.
