35% Increment in House Rent Allowance of Govt. Employees Has Been Approved by PM

ISLAMABAD: FEDERAL MINISTER (HOUSING), AKRAM DURANI SUBMITTED A PROPOSAL OF 100 PERCENT INCREASE IN HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCE OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES TO MINISTER OF FINANCE, WHICH WAS TURNED DOWN BY FINANCE MINISTER.

According to news sources, the increment of 35 percent in house rent allowance of Federal Government employees will also affect their full pay - notification will be released soon.
The increase will not be given on the running basic of employee. This action has been taken due to lack of houses in the Federal Capital which is so troublesome for govt. employees.
The Finance Minister was asked to give his opinion on the proposal of 100 percent increment in house rent allowance by Akram Durani which was turned to 35% by the Finance Minister. Prime Minister has approve the summary after signing.
